Use the Power of Light!

08.20
Looking back over my week it seems like I get into trouble with eating at night. During the day I'm busy and around others and have no difficulty with my eating program.

At night I slow down and become tired, depressed, lonely or bored.

I'm still substituting food for missing items in my life. It's not that I don't know better......I do. It's just that my resistance is down and "my dark side takes over!"

So I've decided to use light to my advantage to stay focused and motivated throughout the day. I've decided to start getting up earlier to make sure I can get my morning work out in before we go to work. Adding more light to my day will radically improve my mood and mental state.

So the goals for this week are: ( I told you I was a list maker!)

Go outside for a few minutes every two hours at work.....I figure I can pull a few weeds out of the flower beds (for 15 minutes). It will make the mission landscape look better and give me a break too!

Do my two mile walk with Leslie before work in the morning.

Continue to plan my meals and take food I can eat with me.

Lose 3 pounds this coming week.

Go to bed earlier ( this one will be hard for me!)

Add another two mile walk with Leslie when I get home from work rather than melt in front of the TV and " veg out " the rest of the evening.

Order the book of recommended receipes for this diet so I have more variety. ( This one is already done!)

Come up with a list of Other things to do when I want to eat.....(this is where you all come in. I need to know what you (successful professional weight loss divas do)....share your secrets, I'm totally desparate!
