Choc-Banana Quinoa

Choc-Banana Quinoa
1 banana- 1/2 chopped & 1/2 mashed
1/4 cup raw quinoa
1/2 cup lite soy milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Boil quinoa in water & soy milk until the outer ring of the germ is visible & liquid has reduced to desired consistency
  • Add vanilla, cocoa & mashed banana
  • Mix well- taste, if you like it sweeter add some stevia
  • Stir through remaining banana & enjoy!
    This is great for when you're craving chocolate & its healthy! 
    I usually have it for breakfast but it's great whenever because it's got a combination of protein and carbs and is fairly filling.
